Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $20/hour

First Shift Available

The Accounts Payable Specialist must be team-oriented, proactive, and goal-driven. This role requires independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in work. All tasks are performed under the general supervision of the Corporate Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all corporate accounts payable functions, including invoice-PO-receipt matching, resolving discrepancies, and preparing payments
• Reconcile employee expense reports and corporate credit cards
• Respond to vendor inquiries and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Maintain vendor files and verify entries in the general ledger
• Assist in 1099 reporting and contribute to special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting and research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
