THE JOB:

As a Starbucks Barista, you are doing more than just crafting specialty drinks and coffees, you are brewing up heart-felt connections with our guests! With your friendly smile and welcoming presence, you'll be the first to connect with customers, making each one feel seen, valued, and at home. By listening to their unique stories and needs, you'll be the expert in creating personalized experiences that leave lasting impressions.

THE STARTING RATE:$18.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Know how to sell and serve Starbucks drinks and menu items

• Take orders, serve food and drinks, and garnish them accurately and quickly

• Handle cash properly, following all cash handling procedures

• Keep the front and back areas clean, including clearing tables and sweeping dining areas without disrupting guests

• Prepare orders as per guest preferences

• Perform opening and closing duties based on your shift

• Unload and stock orders in designated storage areas, keeping everything organized and restocking supplies and machines as needed

• Address guest complaints within your role; escalate to management if necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Exceptional customer service skills

• Prior barista, cafe or grab & go experience

• Describes themselves as detail-oriented

• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time
