As a Security Officer - Tech Sector in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic tech/media/telecom environment. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will be responsible for monitoring designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine checks. Your role will also involve engaging with individuals on-site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. We value agility, reliability, and innovation, and our culture emphasizes teamwork and integrity. This position does not require driving or carrying arms, but a background in customer service and familiarity with technology is preferred.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• CA Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Applicants must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
