Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering LMTS in Indianapolis, IN:

Job Duties: Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability. Influence and drive end-to-end solutions that help a cloud-scale data platform service remain highly available and operating with predictable performance. Work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies to deliver a roadmap to meet shared business goals. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Contribute to the success of the scrum team through Code Reviews, Documentation, and Refinement, Planning, and Retros. Lead, collaborate, communicate, and mentor others on the team and in the company. Troubleshoot issues with the applications and services that the team develops and owns with the intention to solve the problems with solutions and automations. Participate in the team's on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in Indianapolis: 433 North Capitol Avenue, 36 South Pennsylvania Street, 1 East Ohio Street, 111 Monument Circle. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in Indianapolis. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skills: (1) Object Oriented Programming; (2) .NET; (3) C#; (4) Kubernetes; (5) Microservices; (6) MSSQL; (7) MS Windows; (8) Powershell; (9) Python; (10) SQL (11) Splunk; (12) Docker; (13) TeamCity; (14) Mentoring and Leadership; (15) Large Distributed Systems Design; and (16) Jenkins. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.
