needed for a per-diem contract
opportunity with Yoh's client located in Goleta, CA.

This clinic offers occupational and preventative care only for employees onsite. You will be the only medical professional onsite working alongside an Administrative Assistant. Primarily there for first-aid, basic walk-in care (minor acute care like colds, rashes, pink eye, etc.) and in case of an emergency.

Top Skills You Should Possess:


  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) OR Nurse Practitioner (FNP/ANP) license in state of California
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner
  • Preferred experience in: Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting
  • Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
  • Provide wellness materials/information
  • Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • Charting/assessments
  • Respond to emergencies and provide emergency medical care for employees onsite



What You Need to Bring to the Table:

  • Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis between Monday and Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm; job is to cover when their full-time staff need time off of work
  • BLS certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
  • Yearly TB test or QuantiFERON Gold
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship (ie U.S. Passport or original U.S. Birth Certificate) for security badging/clearance
