All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is hiring a CT Technologistfor pediatric CT imaging. Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift 8am - 4:30pm On-call rotations will be required 13 week contract assignment Pay Range: $58 - $62 Local Florida applicants only - this is not a travel contract Requirements Performs all CT examinations according to department procedure manual and established protocols. Interviews patients (in/out) for history pertaining to CT exam. This history is to include unusual conditions or limitations and other pertinent information Visually verifies accuracy of radiology order by checking physicians order in patients' chart or prescription. Performs CT Imaging studies utilizing knowledge of instrumentation and ionizing radiation, cross sectional anatomy, along with technology and skills to producequality CT images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Uses hospital information system, via EPIC to access laboratory results for exam related information. Qualifications Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist is required CPR certification with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS and PACS) is required Johns HopkinsHealth Systemand its affiliatesare an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
