We seek a self-motivated SOLUTION CONSULTANT to join our growing Presales organization. This position is aligned to our Technology Media and Telco (TMT) sales teams.

A position with Anaplan's presales team means being part of a market leading SaaS vendor and making your mark on a changing industry. As a Solution Consultant, you enjoy helping organizations solve hard problems. You are a bit savvy about cool products, and you love showing people how those products can help their businesses.

You will join a team of individuals who embrace and respect diverse perspectives, aren't afraid to push boundaries and try new insights, and are passionate about helping our customers and each other succeed. What you will be doing:



  • Partnering with industry aligned Account Executives on large enterprise prospects to identify suboptimal business processes and related pain points.
  • Ascertaining the Whys and differentiate with Anaplan's innovative connected planning solutions.
  • Develop and deliver planning function-specific solutions, demos, and messaging.
  • At times, building Proof of Concept models that are tailored to solve prospects' problems.
  • Navigating sophisticated prospect environments to facilitate the adoption of connected Anaplan solutions.
  • Cross-training teammates on solution expertise.
  • Creating product awareness in the marketplace.


More about you:



  • 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain presales capacity and / or supply chain consulting.
  • Proven experience with supply chain planning applications.
  • Experience with Demand Planning, Supply Planning and optimization, S&OP areas is preferred.
  • Strong ability to demonstrate thought leadership and develop credibility with prospects as an expert in planning.
  • Ability to take a consultative selling approach by listening to customer needs and shaping a shared vision for a solution.
  • Experience with multi-dimensional modeling, business intelligence, or analytics.
  • Self-starter, with aptitude for quickly ramping up on new technology.
  • Excellent presentation, storytelling, client relationship, and interpersonal skills- both internally and externally.

  • You're comfortable challenging old ways of doing things.


  • BA/BS Degree in Business, FInance or Technical Concentration.

Base Salary Range:
$100,000 $144,000 USD
