In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our eCommerce platform by creating intuitive, user-centered designs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to deliver seamless and engaging user experiences. Your work will directly impact on customer satisfaction and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for user experience and eCommerce. They should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be able to translate complex requirements into intuitive and engaging designs. The ideal candidate is also a proactive problem solver, a strong communicator, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities include: * Utilize Design Thinking or other processes to drive thought leadership and work across disciplines to define new user experiences that are innovative, solve real customer problems, and have a significant impact on the business. Lead the design of user interfaces for our eCommerce platform, ensuring a consistent and cohesive user experience across all touchpoints. Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical constraints. Manage individual scoping and planning availability for all design activities you lead. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and eCommerce. *Qualifications include: * Minimum 5+ years experience in UX design, preferably in the eCommerce industry. Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to stakeholders. Experience with user research, A/B testing and data-driven design. Experience with responsive and mobile-first design. Strong proficiency in Adobe CS and/or Figma. Proficiency in HTML, CSS a plus. A BA or advanced design degree or relevant work experience is a must. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
