Speech Language Pathologist - NICU - Per Diem

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist - NICUopportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation and treatment of medically complex infants with feeding/ swallowing disorders in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at NYC Health + Hospitals Lincoln.

• Position may include float to other pediatric floors on an as needed basis.
• Candidate will be required to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary NICU team to provide exceptional care and should have experience in NICU program development and education of team members.
• Candidate will assist in developing a NICU competency training program for the department of Speech-Language Pathology.
• Shift: Weekly on an as needed basis; Preferred candidate can provide a minimum of 1-2 days of coverage per week

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology
• 1-2 years working independently in the NICU setting required

Preferred:

• Experience with program development in the NICU setting
• Competency in pediatric Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and/or Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES)

Per Diem Rate = $70 per hour
