Position Title: DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Pay Grade: 18

Reports To: VP of Marketing and Strategy

Salary: $120000-$135000 / year

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Eligible

Job Summary

CulinArt's Director of Marketing is a strategic position responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans for CulinArt clients across all vertical markets, overseeing all marketing campaigns, supporting unit-level operators' and clients' marketing goals, providing hands-on training and development, and collaborating with other departments to achieve business goals, while ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives. This position combines creativity and innovation with analytics and hands-on support, with the ultimate goal of fostering customer engagement, maintaining CulinArt brand standards and principles, and delivering client and leadership satisfaction.

The candidate should reside in one of these areas: NY, CT, NJ, PA; Up to 50% travel.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with client and/or business objectives.
  • Create and maintain marketing specifications and standards with programs that are easily adaptable and readily scalable across CulinArt lines of business.
  • Communicate, train and provide hands-on, in-unit support on marketing, signage and merchandising elements.
  • Schedule and conduct regular in-person and supplemental virtual training with unit-level teams.
  • Support growth, innovation, customer and client experiences, while stewarding the CulinArt brand.
  • Design, execute and/or oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, print, etc.).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including, but not limited to, sales, culinary, operations and technology to ensure alignment and achieve marketing and/or business goals.
  • Coach and inspire unit managers to achieve marketing and customer engagement goals.
  • Collaborate on dynamic menu development, communication and delivery, with a keen understanding of menu engineering across various market segments.
  • Manage marketing projects, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Create and present marketing plans to current and/or potential clients.
  • Work closely with teams on marketing events and opportunities, such as sales tradeshows, conferences, etc.
  • Design, create, edit and publish marketing materials as needed.
  • Perform additional projects as tasked.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5-10 years of marketing experience
  • Foodservice operational experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of internal functions
  • Strong digital marketing skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Knowledge of design principles
  • Passion for food and the culinary arts
  • Must be proficient in Power Point, Excel, Canva, and Microsoft Office
