Nonprofit Solution Engineering Senior Manager, SB/GRB Segments

We're looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Salesforce Nonprofit Solution Engineering team as an SE Leader. If you possess proven leadership skills, intellectual curiosity, great problem solving skills and an unwavering belief that the right technology can solve any problem then you are the ideal candidate for the job.

The Nonprofit SE Manager will work within the existing Nonprofit SE leadership team, and will also work closely with Sales and Industry Solutions to drive success for our customers in the nonprofit segment. The SE Manager is a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate/external resources when required. This individual will be directly manage an existing team of SB/GRB Solution Engineers, and will be responsible for allocating resources, performing employee reviews and evaluations, participating in strategic opportunities, driving relationships, and enabling team members to be successful in our markets. The SE Manager must be able to support the Solution Engineering team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent their team's needs to the Salesforce Nonprofit executive staff. This individual should also be able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing, Technology & Products and Sales Leadership to gain commitment and support. This individual must have excellent strategic selling skills.

Necessary Skills:

  • Leadership experience through people management, team lead, program/project lead, or other examples

  • Proven record of executive presentation skills

  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge, interest or background in the nonprofit industry

  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems in varied political environments

  • Proven time management & prioritization skills in a dynamic sales environment

  • Technical expertise in any of the following industries (CRM, Customer Service, Sales Automation, Digital Marketing, Enterprise Data Systems and Analytics, Business Intelligence, Workflow Automation)

  • Ability to travel domestically (up to 50%)

Desired Skills:

  • Prior SE leadership experience

  • Prior direct experience in the Nonprofit industry

  • Experience working with Salesforce solutions in a technical capacity

  • Salesforce Certifications - current Administrator, Architect, or Consultant

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,400 to $245,280. For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $166,670 to $222,950. For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,400 to $245,280. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,400 to $245,280. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
