We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain hands-on experience in managing supply chain activities related to new product introductions (NPI) for hardware and software, handling component obsolescence, and supporting sustaining activities in manufacturing. The intern will also gain exposure to industry-standard tools such as Agile, Kinaxis, and Oracle, and work closely with manufacturing, hardware, and test engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: New Product Introduction (NPI): * Assist in coordinating supply chain activities for NPI projects. * Support the sourcing of components and materials for new products. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product development timelines. Component Obsolescence Management: * Help monitor the lifecycle of components to identify potential obsolescence issues. * Assist in developing strategies to mitigate risks associated with component obsolescence. * Work with suppliers to identify alternative components when necessary. Sustaining Activities in Manufacturing: * Support ongoing manufacturing operations by ensuring a steady supply of components and materials. * Assist in addressing supply chain issues that arise during the production process. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Tool Utilization: * Learn and utilize Agile, Kinaxis, and Oracle tools to manage supply chain processes and data. * Assist in optimizing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and improving overall supply chain performance. * Support Manufacturing: * Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities. * Provide support to resolve supply chain-related challenges in the manufacturing environment. Support Hardware and Test Engineers: * Work closely with hardware and test engineering teams to understand their requirements and provide necessary supply chain support. * Ensure the availability of components and materials needed for testing and validation processes. Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. * Strong interest in supply chain management and manufacturing processes. * Basic understanding of Agile, Kinaxis, and Oracle tools is a plus. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and collaboration abilities. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
