Agile Coach/Scrum Master

BigBear.ai is seeking an Agile Coach/RTE to support work with . This Agile coach must be able to support Government as they scale their agile teams.

This position will be Remote, based out of Colorado Springs CO.

• Guide teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders in understanding and applying Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Mentor individuals and teams to improve Agile practices, self-organization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Assess the current state of Agile maturity within teams or organizations and develop tailored strategies for improvement.
• Assist in transitioning teams from traditional (e.g., Waterfall) to Agile methodologies.
• Design and deliver training sessions, workshops and simulations on Agile principles, practices and tools.
• Educate stakeholders on benefits of Agile and how it aligns with the business goals.
• Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in workflows and recommend solutions to optimize delivery processes.
• Promote the use of Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time, burndown charts) to track progress and drive improvements.
• Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability within teams.
• Encourage experimentation and innovation to solve complex problems.
• Work with leadership to align Agile practices with organizational objectives.
• Act as a change agent to support cultural shifts toward agility at all levels.
• Mediate team conflicts and facilitate discussions to maintain a productive working environment.
• Help teams address impediments and escalate issues when necessary.

• Must posses an active Top Secret Clearance.
• B.S. or B.A. degree.
• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing Agile coaching for mid to senior-level professionals, emerging leaders, and first-time managers.
• Active Certified Scrum Professional (Scrum Alliance) and/or ICAgile Certified Professional Agile Coaching certification.
• Active SPC certified SAFe 6.0 certification.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
