Overview

Responsible for the shipping, receiving, stocking and delivery of parts, supplies, and products for the SRMC customer and SRMC Liquid Waste Material Access Center (MAC) warehouses and storage facilities. The MAC ensures the timely flow of materials through the supply chain and maintains an accurate material inventory. Ensures customer needs are met and all duties are performed in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. Responsibilities also include ensuring these duties are performed in a manner that prevents unsafe work execution, stops observed unsafe acts, and recommends safety enhancements, to the benefit of the safety and productivity of the MAC team. Ensures the relationship with SRMC progresses seamlessly without interruption of parts and materials to our customer. Ensures customer's objectives and expectations with ordering/maintaining/storage of parts & materials, environmental compliance, and safety are met or surpassed.



Responsibilities

Essential Job Function
    Have a good working knowledge of MAC facilities in S, F, H, J, and N Areas.
  • Use Puridiom daily
  • Responsible to cover materials for E, F, H, J, N, S, Z, Areas and ETP.
  • Become an expert in respect to the assigned areas.
  • CHMEMS Qualified.
  • Ensure three year rolling inventory schedule is up to date.
  • Escort customer to warehouse/laydowns yards as required.
  • Be able to answer any question that is asked concerning the assigned areas. (i.e., how often is it ordered, why is the supply running low, why is it stored in this drawer and not in that drawer, has the order been placed, how long ago was it placed, what is the status of the order, who normally uses this type of material).
  • Openly communicate to management any issues that may arise.
  • Responsible for all inventory in assigned areas. Ensure inventory is accurately maintained and adjusted. Ensure Puridiom report is correct for assigned areas (Inventory, Correct building/bin locations, Correct material identification)
  • Order materials in assigned department (areas) and ensure min/max specifications are met.
  • Ensure all non-consumable items are disbursed through Puridiom.
  • Perform physical inventory of items (Three Year Rolling Inventory and random Cycle Counts).
  • Have a good working knowledge of all applicable SRS procedures.
  • Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities - manually and by use of mechanical means.
  • Monitor and maintain all shelf-life materials in assigned department per shelf-life program guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain Min/Max levels of all items in assigned areas.
  • Move materials with pallet jacks, forklifts, and dollies to bring products and materials to an appropriate location.
  • Comply with in-storage maintenance program for items that require maintenance while in storage (such as lubrication, shaft rotation, etc.).
  • Kit materials as required per approved kitting guidelines.
  • Receive/scan/verify materials against invoices (MSR and delivery manifests) to ensure the accuracy of delivery.
  • Rectify inaccurate discrepancies and complete required receiving documentation for deliveries.
  • Protect assets against loss and theft.
  • Report lost, stolen, or damaged government property.
  • Comply with the requirements and instructions for safely handling and storing chemicals.
  • Assure materials within storage areas that are no longer required for maintenance, projects or operations are appropriately excessed.
  • Monitoring the stockroom inventory and issuing/maintaining/replenishing warehouse stock.
  • Conduct audits as required report discrepancies in quantities to supervisor.

  • Perform transactions in the inventory system to enter new quantities after receiving new stock and adjust inventory after issuing materials.
  • Issue materials to departments in the organization upon request. This involves transacting inventory quantities to the department and delivering the parts to the work area.
  • Perform routine safety and security inspections of MAC facilities.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Mail delivery.
  • Successfully participate in on and off-the-job training as required.
  • Assist with training and development of other MAC employees.
  • Responsible to maintain confidentiality of all information available to the position.
  • Ensure the contractual requirements are met through compliance of WE2 MAC Worker Protection Plan (WPP), applicable SRS Site Procedures, as well as, State and Federal Environmental Regulations, OSHA, and the documentation, thereof.
  • Ensure time sheets are completed in a timely manner.
  • Perform a minimum of one Focused Observation/month.
  • Actively participate in daily and monthly safety meetings.
  • Perform inspections of fire extinguishers/first aid kits/biohazard kits as required.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor/line management to this position, but not specifically stated in this description.
  • Manage of all items through the manifest system from receipt of items at the loading dock through the delivery of the item to the drop point/end user.
  • Ensure immediate attention is given to work with customer to resolve all manifest issues and return item to Central Shops warehouse facility if necessary.
  • Responsible for Emergency Pick-Ups (express issues) from Central Shops warehouse facility and delivery to areas.
  • Responsible for valve pick-ups and deliveries to and from the SRS valve shop facility.
  • Print and review Shelf-Life report and help maintain shelf-life items per SRMC and MAC Warehouse procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain all shelf-life materials in assigned department per shelf-life program guidelines.
  • Print and review Min/Max report and help maintain Min/Max inventory items per SRMC and MAC Warehouse procedures and guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Forklift operating experience - must be able to qualify and operate a forklift operator.
  • Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • 30 Hours of General Industry Safety Training or equivalent.
  • Required to have strong computer skills.
  • Must be able to operate a pallet jack and lift.
  • Obtain and maintain a property pass prior to transporting government owned or leased property offsite or in a private vehicle onsite.
  • Must be able to personally respond to facility emergencies as needed.
  • Have a good working knowledge of the WE2 MAC WPP.
  • Scheduled and unscheduled overtime is required.
  • Must be physically capable of climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. of weight.
  • Work both rotating and standard shifts, as required, with periodic shift changes.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to help meet manpower needs.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding role. The work involves long hours standing, squatting, and bending.
  • Cross training on other MAC positions/job functions per management's direction.
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold temperatures) and inclement weather conditions.
  • Must be physically capable to hear and understand audible alarms.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must obtain and maintain an Uncleared PIV Site security badge.
  • Must possess a valid state's driver's license and have/maintain a good driving record. Motor Vehicle Records will be ordered and checked as part of pre-employment screening.
  • Pass pre-employment physical including drug/alcohol screening.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

This position will pay $18 - $20 an hour depending on experience.
