Position Description:The Planning & Launch Project Manager (PM) is the driving force behind Cross Company stakeholder engagements, seamlessly managing a portfolio of project launches from the design phase all the way through to deployment. This role is vital in ensuring that our products, services, and capabilities make their way to the market with the highest quality and completeness throughout each stage of execution. One of the exciting aspects of this position is the unparalleled exposure it provides to the full spectrum of Microsoft's business. The projects overseen by the Planning & Launch PM span across various domains, including Product, Partner, Regulatory/Compliance, as well as Acquisitions and Divestitures launches and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with multiple facets of the company and contribute to a wide array of strategic endeavors.In essence, the Planning & Launch PM plays a crucial part in landing our offerings in the market successfully, while also ensuring that each stage of the process is executed with precision and excellence. ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Lead and manage multiple launch projects simultaneously, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams across Microsoft to ensure seamless execution of launch plans, including marketing, sales, product development, and operations.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to address any issues that may arise during the launch process.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, provide regular updates on launch progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive launch strategies that align with business goals and market demands.Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze launch performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of launch strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. |
