Overview

The DCM business management team, within Investment Bank - Origination and Advisory, is responsible for driving the achievement of business objectives and supporting the operation of the Debt Capital Markets business line.

As a member of the business management team, you will be responsible for development of the business, articulating and delivering strategy, management information reporting, and liaising with the front office and support functions. In this role, you would report to the Debt Capital Markets COO of the Americas.

What You'll Do

  • Help the business in managing strategy, control framework, people, cost base, and financial performance among many other things
  • Act as the central liaison between front office and functional partners including Technology, Finance, Operations, Credit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Human Resources
  • Contribute to the delivery of projects pertaining to innovation, strategy, control environment, and operations
  • Produce ad-hoc and recurring market analysis and management information
  • Represent the business in internal committees and forums

Skills You'll Need

  • Prior relevant experience and understanding of investment banking products
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated and works well under pressure
  • Proven track record of independently, proactively, and effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, especially with regards to data analysis

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to understand broad business issues, their potential implications and to make sound business recommendations

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $60K to $130K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
