Integrated Marketing - Marketing Specialist II

AMSOIL is hiring for a Marketing Specialist on to support our Industrial team! This is an exciting opportunity if you are highly motivated and enjoy a challenge. In addition to working within the Integrated Marketing team, you will work with key business partners in Product Marketing, Communications, and Industrial Sales to develop marketing strategy, plans and campaigns for our Industrial segment of business. This is a hybrid position reporting to our headquarters in Superior, Wisconsin.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Support or lead execution of key Industrial marketing campaigns, including Account Based Marketing, to acquire and nurture marketing qualified leads
  • Plan and coordinate AMSOIL Industrial presence at tradeshows/events; assist in managing event budget
  • Develop content calendars for AMSOIL Industrial
  • Partner with others on Integrated Marketing, Communications, and Sales to develop video strategy plans
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content across AMSOIL Industrial blog and various social media platforms
  • Develop relationships with industry partners to grow brand presence


  • Assess the effectiveness of go-to-market activities to determine ROI on marketing investments


Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic marketing and business concepts through education, work experience or other training
  • Knowledge of marketing trends, best practices and resources
  • Excellent organization skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Works well in a team environment with the ability to motivate others
  • Self-motivated person with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects and shifting priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM
  • Available and eligible to travel up to 10% of time by plane and/or car


Preferred Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing concepts
  • Experience working in B2B marketing landscape
  • Experience in industrial markets - metalworking/metal stamping, foundry and steel mill and plastics
  • Passion for and/or knowledge of lead generation processes and activities
  • Experience planning and executing tradeshows
