Assembler - Production

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Work effectively in a team environment

* Must be able to perform all work allocated

* Must be able to work from blueprints, process sheets and/or instructions.

* Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills.

* Must be able to work with minimum supervision

* This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds.

* Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.

* Experience with General Assembly and working in a manufacturing environment.

* Computer and organizational skills.

* Have good interpersonal and communications skills.

* Goal orientated and motivation to achieve tasks within set timelines.
