Security Officer - Hospital Part Time

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you engage with the community through exceptional customer service and communication. This unarmed position requires a professional demeanor and a commitment to our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Your role is crucial in fostering a caring culture that prioritizes people and teamwork, always acting with integrity. A guard card or license and customer service experience are preferred for this role.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by executing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• California Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
