Position Description

Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) on all fin dies according to instructions provided with work order (MTO) and directions from supervisor. Set-up fin die following scheduled PM and run approved sample parts for quality technician prior to releasing fin die to production personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to perform work safely and proficiently
  • Ability to operate Vertical Mills, Lathes, Saws, and Surface Grinders
  • Ability to use all types measuring devices
  • Ability to function in a team orientated work place
  • Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings
Required Education & Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Fin Press Operator or Fin Die Technician
  • Very good knowledge of Fin Press Dies all Configurations (3/8,1/2, & 5/8)
  • Proficient in mathematics and measurement tools
  • Very good mechanical aptitude needed
  • Knowledge of sheet metal materials and fabrication
  • Knowledge of manufacturing jigs and fixtures
  • Forklift License required
  • Must have high school diploma
  • AAS in related field a plus
