Mobile Assessment Representative - Full-Time North Central to North West Arkansas Territory Rivendell Behavioral Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Little Rock and Arkansas community for 40-years. Website: https://www.rivendellofarkansas.com Rivendell Behavioral Health Services has an opening for a Mobile Assessment Representative for the River Valley Area spanning from North Central Arkansas to NorthWest. The Mobile Assessment Representative is a key member of the Rivendell Assessment Team and Business Development Team. The Mobile Assessment Representative will be primarily responsible for conducting clinical screenings for review by a physician to assist referral sources and the community. The Mobile Assessment Representative will also network to ensure continued care of children, adolescents and adults as well as to ascertain quality of services provided by the hospital and to promote facility programs. Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- ASSESSMENT: Consistently demonstrates that assessment needs are a priority.
- Demonstrates appropriate levels of organization, written and verbal skills, necessary for preparing, processing and dealing with assignments, as well as the ability to express ideas clearly.
- Has thorough knowledge of community resources and is able to access resources when needed.
- Reports any issues or concerns with patients presenting for admission.
- Ensures that a call sheet has been completed with detailed information about the referral source and patient.
- Staff's each call with the Intake Director after the completion of the assessment, both acute and non-acute dispositions.
- Demonstrates clinical screening skills to assist the physician in developing recommendations for further interventions for the patient
- MARKETING: Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of personalities and operates effectively despite pressures of deadlines or occurrences of unexpected events.
- Consistently deals in a tactful & harmonious fashion with staff, patients, and the public and to consistently adhere to and follow all policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the organizational structure and programs within environmental health facilities.
- Represents the company to professional groups as a committee member or speaker.
- Consistently meets productivity requirements for weekly marketing contacts and completed assessments as established by the A&R Director/Business Development Director.
- Is able to identify potential referral sources and business opportunities for the organization.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of all plans, contacts, and activities on a regular basis
- Develops and completes strategic plan for designated territory on a weekly basis to improve communication and education for referral sources and the community regarding programs and services at Rivendell.
- Enters contacts into MedSeries 4 no less than weekly or as frequently as established by the Business Development and Intake Directors.
- DOCUMENTATION: Thorough documentation and completion of Part 1 of the assessment, all required consents for admission and other related documents.
- Ensures that the completed assessment and all signed consents are received at Rivendell in a timely manner and prior to the patient's arrival for admission.
- Provides intake with inquiry call accurate information prior to or immediately after the completion of the assessment.
- TEAMWORK: Meets regularly with department to discuss challenges, successes, effectiveness and efficiency of procedures and operations of the program as observed by the supervisor.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate and perform assessments as requested by co-workers in other territories.
- Works to establish pleasant, professional, therapeutic and efficient working relationships with other team members and refrains from engaging in gossip or other indirect communication that may undermine the mature function of the team as observed by the supervisor.
- When problems arise, addresses them directly and respectfully taking a consistently solution-focused approach as observed by the supervisor.
- PERSONAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT: Attends all training sessions as required by the hospital as evidenced by documentation.
- Displays proper time management, planning and organizational skills as observed by the supervisor.
- Maintains current licensure and/or certification required for the position as evidenced by documentation.
- SAFETY: Adheres to all facility safety procedures, reporting any observed hazards and attending all trainings.
- POLICY & PROCEDURE: Follows established hospital/departmental policies and procedures with regard to attendance and punctuality.
- Follows established hospital/departmental policies and procedures with regard to dress code.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in counseling/social work required.
- Licensed as a LMSW/LCSW/LAC/LPC/LPE/RN.
- Valid Driver's License.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, mental health professionals, DHS and court personnel. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Mathematical Skill: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Financial/Organizational Skill: Ability to maintain and timely report expenses for travel and purchases made on behalf of the organization.
- Clinical Skill: Ability to assess and clearly document patient history and current symptoms, reports from reliable informants and referral sources, developing a plan of care with the Intake staff to ensure patient safety.
- Computer Skill: Ability to perform data entry as needed to document sales plans, contacts made, assessments, and referrals.
