Field Supervisor - Full Time - Mountain View

Position: Field Supervisor - Paramedic (EMT-P)

Location: Mountain View

Hours / Shift: Full-Time, 24 Hour Shifts

Sign-On Bonus: May be eligible for up to $10,000

Overview:

Perform direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced life support. Field Supervisors also perform clerical and maintenance duties and act as preceptors for EMT and Paramedic students. Supervises Emergency Medical Techs and Paramedics in daily routine and pre-hospital care setting.

Job Duties:

• Assesses patient to promote optimal levels of wellness throughout pre-hospital care and hospitalization and implements patient care to assure comprehensive holistic care.
• Functions in leadership positions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Directs and supervises Emergency Medical Techs and Paramedics in the delivery and promotion of patient care and other daily activities.
• Under the direction of EMS Senior Leadership, functions in a supervisory and teaching mode in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates proficiency in pre-hospital basic & advanced life support skills and ability to operate an ambulance.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: Paramedic (EMT-P) license for the state where employed, valid driver's license.
• Experience: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Certifications: Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Other: May be required to work differing shifts and schedules.
