Fabrication/3D Print Technician I Intern

JOB TITLE: FABRICATION/3D PRINT TECHNICIAN I INTERN

DEPARTMENT: FABRICATION & MODIFICATION

REPORTS TO: UAV PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

CLASSIFICATION: NON-EXEMPT

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Assist the shop/fabrication/engineering department as assigned, with fabrication of structural or sheet metal products.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform any combination of tasks: lifting, positioning and removing workpieces to assist in fitting and/or welding.
• Assure the accuracy and completeness of all work assignments.
• Assist with quality assurance of all products.
• Assist with the final 3D print process, working directly with an Engineer.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas at all times.
• Follow precise safety measures at all times.
• Perform other duties as are necessary and/or required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing High School diploma/degree in related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD Software.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to traverse manufacturing facility.
