Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in S/4 HANA modules including Taxes on Purchase Goods Issue and GR Pricing Strategies Physical Inventory Special Procurement Indirect Procurement and Direct Procurement. Additionally proficiency in E-Procurement and Contract Management is essential. This role offers a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements.

• Lead the design and implementation of S/4 HANA solutions for various procurement processes.
• Oversee the integration of S/4 HANA modules such as Taxes on Purchase Goods Issue and GR and Pricing Strategies.
• Provide expertise in managing Physical Inventory and Special Procurement within S/4 HANA.
• Ensure seamless execution of Indirect and Direct Procurement processes using S/4 HANA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize E-Procurement and Contract Management workflows.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and business processes.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to S/4 HANA procurement modules.
• Train and mentor junior team members on best practices and system functionalities.
• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements to improve overall efficiency.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
• Ensure that all solutions align with the companys strategic goals and objectives.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA Taxes on Purchase Goods Issue and GR Pricing Strategies Physical Inventory Special Procurement Indirect Procurement and Direct Procurement.
• Demonstrate expertise in E-Procurement and Contract Management.
• Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in functional architecture.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Show proficiency in system documentation and process optimization.
• Display excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Procurement

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000/year to $138,000/year depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
