Vending Analyst

Ferrellgas is looking for a Vending Analyst that will assist in the analysis, communication, and reporting for all retailers using Vending units as an automation solution for commerce. This role also supports the Cash Manager in reconciliation of POS to cash. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to ensure Blue Rhino's automated vending program is implemented and managed to maximize revenue by reducing the discrepancy between what inventory is delivered and funds collected to avoid revenue shrink impacting earnings within a set cost structure.

Benefits:

• Validates that transactional and POS data is being properly received from all 3^rd party vending companies. Works closely with internal IT/EDI team to ensure accurate loading of all data. Analyze 3^rd party costs before sending them for approval.
• Validates and assists in the posting of payments per our agreements with vending retail partners.
• Works closely with Cash Application team to insure proper posting of payments. Serves as back up for cash application and SBT team for daily cash and credit card postings.
• Assists in identifying and resolving billing/pricing/shrink issues in a timely manner.
• Prepares periodic reconciliations of our delivery data verses posted payments for vending retail partners. Assists with the development of specific recommendations for each retailer and/or distributor that will minimize variances between our delivered quantities and posted payments.
• Compiles reporting and submits commission payments to vending retail partners.
• Analyzes and reviews AR reconciliation, delivery, and POS to determine variance and inventory shrink.
• Works with internal and external business partners where shrink discrepancies are found to make recommendations for shrink mitigation actions and/or plans to reduce the variance between payments and deliveries as well as reduce the costs of engaging in vending business relationships.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 1+ years of business experience, preferably with a focus in automated commerce such as pay-on-scan programs.
• Solid general ledger experience.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) including working with creation of formulas, pivot tables and charts.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
