KI is seeking a Human Resources Assistant for our High Point manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for providing support for the Human Resource Manager in all areas. This position will also aid Scheduling and Purchasing as needed.

Responsibilities:
General Administration Support 60%



  • Respond to employee inquires and direct to appropriate personnel or resources.
  • Answer, screen and direct incoming calls and emails.
  • Develop meeting agenda for the monthly Safety Team and become Safety Chair.
  • Develop attendance warnings.
  • Submit weekly update to Human Resources Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating employee activities such as luncheon gatherings, picnics, safety awards, United Way, etc.
  • Coordinate service awards.
  • Coordinate annual United Way.
  • Assist in coordinating annual training, testing and open enrollment
  • Coordinate with Nurse for Health Risk Assessments and RAS
  • Coordinate birthday cards, sympathy cards, funeral flowers, etc.
  • Coordinate retirement functions.
  • Order and stock office supplies.
  • Serve as plant payroll backup.
  • Assist Technicians and office staff with 401k enrollment and changes


Recruitment and Onboarding 20%



  • Screen plant applications and schedule phone and on-site interviews
  • Coordinate new hire paperwork
  • Coordinate and conduct orientation and on-boarding for new employees


Recordkeeping 20%



  • Maintain attendance management records
  • Maintain training, ISO, EEO and other reports
  • Maintain current HR work instructions for tasks


Qualifications:



  • Associate's degree in HR, Administrative Professional or related field preferred
  • One-year Human Resources experience
  • One year data entry experience preferred
  • One year experience in HR Office environment
