HX5, in support of the GEARS contract at NASA Glenn Research Center, is currently seeking a summer intern to support our business office. The selected candidate will perform cost variance analyses, data analysis, and alert management to potential overruns or imbalances in contract task accounts. They will also coordinate with members of the business office and have demonstrated capability to use spreadsheet, database, and personal computer planning tools.

Required Skills:

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education/Experience:

• Business student with at least 2 years of completed college coursework with a major in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
