Job Description

Supply Chain Intern: Hourly rate of $22 starting May 26th through August 1st (student school schedule dependent).

INX International Ink Co. is seeking a passionate Integrated Supply Chain Management Intern for the Summer of 2025. This hands-on internship will provide practical experience and exposure into the daily supply chain of a global leader of Inks & Coatings. Open to students pursuing a degree in supply chain, procurement, business, or related degree of study. This internship will work horizontally across our Supply Planning & Procurement departments. This is a great student opportunity to learn, grow and deploy supply chain strategies, enhancing overall departmental value and synergies while in person and hands on.

Responsibilities And Learning Outcomes

  • Reviewing SAP material master data for completeness and data integrity to ensure adherence to INX policy and protocol
  • Engage with cycle counting and understanding proper inventory control procedures
  • Meet with existing and prospective material venders alongside our purchasing team
  • Analyze large data sets to learn and identify changes, and overall trends in the following areas:
    • Inventory Turns and Stocking Levels
    • Participate and enhance the decision-making process in relation to locational capacity, scheduling, and planning
    • Reordering and purchase order management
    • Management & comparison of procurement category detail including price, duties and qualified offsets
  • Actively engage with Power BI to refine reports and enhance in conjunction with department management
Qualifications

To beconsidered to this opportunity,you will be required to:

  • Pursuinga bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, business, or related field as junior or senior.
  • Strong mathematical & analytical skills
  • Successful ability to utilize Microsoft Suites including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn & use supply chain systems including SAP and Power BI at an entry level
