Position Summary
This position is a critical component to the success of the Terry College Executive, Professional, and Online MBA Programs. This position leads planning and execution of programming and events for all Executive, Professional, and Online MBA students. The position independently coordinates departmental programming and communications, and interface daily with the various students, staff, faculty, alumni, and outside vendors.
The position is based at the Terry Executive Education Center (TEEC) in Atlanta, located at 3475 Lenox Rd NE, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30326.

Programming and Events

  • Lead planning and execution of all academic preparatory programming and workshops for incoming and current students including but not limited to:


    • EPOMBA

      • Lead alumni soiree, Atlanta area business visits
      • Lead Excel workshop, Ace the Case
      • Coordinate program participation in Economic Outlook, TTT, MBA Alumni Lunch & Learn




    • EMBA

      • Support Welcome Weekend, graduation reception
      • Lead Friday/Saturday after class networking events
      • Lead student ambassador events
      • Support M&A, LC and LSS workshops



    • OMBA

      • Support graduation reception, program welcome, Athens residency, town halls
      • Lead Dawgs Opening Doors event, networking activities



    • PMBA

      • Support graduation reception, program welcome,
      • Lead Dawgs Opening Doors event
      • Lead student ambassador events




  • Conduct research on resources available to create and enhance academic programming and events including research and comparisons with other schools and programs
  • Responsible for programming and events (Executive, Professional, and Online) department budget, including decisioning and oversight for planning, budgeting, forecasting, tracking of actuals, and implementing efficiencies and cost-savings within our program standards and student/faculty experience goals
  • Maintain department programming and event calendars for all three programs and lead communications around upcoming programs responsible for
  • Order materials for all programming and events responsible for
  • Serve as additional/backup support for program operations (e.g., class weekends and evenings, etc.)

Duties/Responsibilities
Program Support

  • Maintain program handbooks for all three programs
  • Maintain eLC program hub for all three programs
  • Work with OMC for faculty and staff website updates for all three programs
  • Assist in planning and promoting programming and events
  • Ensure effective communication before, during, and after events including post-event surveys where applicable
  • Work with program staff to assure all students and faculty receive a high level of customer support throughout the student life cycle
  • Build and maintain relationships with students for the duration of the programs beyond to foster loyalty and create engaged alumni

Miscellaneous Duties:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Organize/proctor student exams as needed
  • Attend program events, EMBA Fridays, etc. as much as possible
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of the Executive and Professional MBA programs
