Pay Rate: $18.65

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Collect pre harvest pathogen test raw product samples. Perform pre-harvest assessments of growing regions. Filling out paperwork on a daily basis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Ability to collect pre-harvest pathogen testing raw product samples and conduct food safety inspections, work with minimal supervision, good attendance, understands and follows posted rules/procedures, interact well with co-workers. Good driving record and valid driver license necessary.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

• Ability to work with mobile devices

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand and walk for long period of time, able to lift 25 pounds. Consistent bending at the waist (sampling) and driving.

WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to work evenings, weekends, & holidays as necessary.
• Able to travel to various sites including but not limited to (Salinas, CA, Huron, CA, and Yuma, AZ)

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

1-2 years of food safety and quality auditing experience preferred

PAY RATE:

$18.65
