Imaging Services Educator

Scope of Position

The Imaging Services Educator (ISE) is responsible for providing customized education by designing, developing, implementing and evaluating clinical instruction to support the orientation and ongoing educational needs of Imaging Services. The ISE will ensure continued high compliance in completion of all educational opportunities and will foster a deeply rooted focus on high quality safe patient care. The ISE will function as an educational consultant working with multiple modalities and disciplines to cultivate collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect.Collaboration with Department of Radiology faculty members and other physician team members as well as Imaging services across the organization where guidance can be provided regardless of organizational structure.

Position Summary

The Imaging Services Educator plays a vital role in the development, implementation, and management of educational programs for all Imaging Services staff, including agency personnel and student workers. This position collaborates closely with department leadership, vendors, and various healthcare disciplines to ensure the delivery of high-quality education that meets the needs of diverse patient populations and care settings. The educator will uphold the organizations values, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Science or related field of study. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiation Therapy Certification andOhio Department of Health - Radiology License; advanced certification in training coordinator modality CT, MR, IR, NMBT, or RDMS. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
