DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will be involved in basic cleaning duties at Southeastern Veterans' Center. Your duties will include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, and cleaning resident rooms and offices. In this position, you will empty waste containers, dispose of recyclable materials, and collect and dispose of infectious materials. You can expect to pick up and deliver supplies, move furniture and equipment, and assist with shoveling snow. Additionally, you will maintain a safe working environment and report all problems to the supervisor. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- The following two shifts are available, with a 30-minute lunch break.
- 1st shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
