We are looking for a talented and energetic Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Exception Item Processing product team. This team is one product line within a cloud-native banking product suite that will revolutionize the way banks operate in the 21st century. This product is in the early stage of development, and we're looking for someone enthused about the challenges and opportunities that come with new product launches.

The ideal candidate is a professional who has a mix of both business and technical acumen. However, a strong focus will be on candidates that have a deep technical understanding of modern technologies and electronic payments functionality. Ideal candidates will have a product/business owner mindset, interacting with existing and potential JH customers as well as internal stakeholders, and owning recommendations about the direction of the product(s). This individual must be proficient at interacting with engineering teams and customers, as well as internal business leaders.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Designs, modifies and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and release.
  • Serves as a central resource with design, process, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to completion and release.
  • Conduct continuous competitive analysis of internal and external exception processing solutions.
  • Tracks statistics of product adoption by customer base and translates feedback into enhancement recommendations.
  • Ensures a smooth turnover to the implementation or support organizations that includes planning, training and hand off.
  • Establishes and interacts with user community (e.g., focus groups, crowdsourcing, customer fact finding, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains the product vision/roadmap.
  • Participates in the rollout of marketing plans/campaigns.
  • Creates pilot program definition and coordinates execution.
  • Creates standard demonstrations (and occasional participation in customer demonstrations).
  • Provides demonstration training to Sales.
  • Promotes investigation and application of new technologies and industry trends to product management activities.
  • Ensures that products meet specifications and quality goals.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in product management or business analysis building software products, preferably in the financial services or payment processing industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience with post-implementation analysis, bug fixes, user experience testing, and/or triage.
  • Agile software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of exception item processing workflows and technologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to attend business meetings, professional conferences, and client site visits.

  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills as well as organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Experience in Deposit Operations at a bank and/or credit union.
