Office of Graduate Admissions Job Description
UMKC's Office of Graduate Admissions is seeking qualified applicants for a Senior Graduate Recruitment Coordinator. This position will assist the Director of Graduate Admissions with operational functions of graduate admissions and recruitment. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Primary point of contact for graduate admission inquiries. Responsible for fielding majority of graduate admissions phone calls, emails and text messages and responding to such inquires promptly and accurately * Represent the university at regional career and graduate school fairs * Assists with planning annual on-campus graduate programs fair * Assists with presenting bi-weekly graduate student information sessions * Responsible for executing calling/texting campaigns to prospective graduate students in various stages of the enrollment funnel * Plans, manages, and implements student recruitment strategies to help the University achieve graduate enrollment goals * Assumes responsibility and autonomy for planning, coordinating, and supervising specific graduate admissions programs or projects * Represents the University to prospective graduate students and the general public * Plans and implements the graduate student recruitment and admissions plan for the admissions office * Recruitment and admission of domestic graduate students and helps support first time college and transfer teams as counselor of the day and through attendance at various other Office of Admission events * Develops and disseminates graduate admission information through presentations and publications, working in conjunction with on-campus and off-campus constituents * Assists with supervising graduate student worker(s) and intern(s) * Works collaboratively with university partners (academic units and campus departments) as well as community partners and organizations. Represents the Office of Admissions on university and/or community committees. * Assists with developing marketing material - ex: email and publications - for prospective graduate students * Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate Admissions Position includes early morning, weekend, and evening work along with some regional travel, mostly in the fall and spring Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree strongly preferred in Higher Education, Educational Administration, Student Personnel Administration, etc... * 2-3 years of admissions, recruitment or enrollment management experience, particularly with graduate and/or adult learner populations * Supervision of student staff Anticipated Hiring Range
$51,875.20 - $53,500.00 annually, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. Application Deadline
