The Corporate Paralegal will report to the Commercial Counsel and be an integral member of the legal team providing support to the Atlantic Aviation commercial, business development and operations teams. You will experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally with your business clients, governmental authorities, and the Company's customers and vendors.
You will support the Company's attorneys with the negotiation and administration of various agreements including its real estate leases, commercial contracts and vendor contracts. You will also be a key contributor in the Company's efforts to modernize its processing and administration of legal agreements and requests for support.
This position resides in Plano, TX at the corporate office.

Responsibilities
Real Estate Leases and Commercial / Vendor Contract Administration:
- Assist with the administration of commercial and vendor contracts from receipt in legal through final output from legal, ensuring contracts align with company objectives and processes.
- Lead the administration of real estate leases including maintenance of the lease database and ensuring data integrity of lease interpretation, abstraction and entry into the lease management database.
- Provide related support for contract management and conserve attorney time by reading, editing, researching, and collaborating on contracts and collecting and analyzing exhibits.
- Assist internal attorneys in identifying and mitigating potential risks in contractual terms and conditions.
- Proofread, redline, edit, and finalize legal documents as needed.
Collaboration & Workflow:
- Partner with attorneys to develop and improve processes, workflows, and best practices; analyze contract performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with building playbooks to contracts.
- Work closely and effectively with attorneys to manage contract and negotiation administration, including scheduling, correspondence, deadline and expiration management and filings.
- Liaise with internal departments (business development, operations, finance, construction, commercial, risk & compliance) and external parties (including contract counterparties and law firms supporting the Company) to ensure seamless processing of leases and commercial and vendor contract negotiation and execution.
Research:
- Use Westlaw or similar platforms for research and perform special research projects as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications
Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile, organize, and verify information.
- Advanced writing skills, including the ability to draft legal documents and correspondence clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and discuss complex legal matters.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and solve practical problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently on projects from conception to completion, including those under time pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Able and willing to tolerate stress and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in data-base administration
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or management, legal studies, or similar major.
- Certified Paralegal designation.
- Must have a minimum of 5-7 years paralegal experience and thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of corporate real estate, contract review and negotiation and project management.
- Significant experience working in large law firm and/or "in house" large corporate legal department.
- Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related business applications; proficient knowledge of CMS;
- At least 18 years of age.
