Strategy & Operations, Associate Director, Kidney

The Strategy & Operations, Associate Director, Kidney supports our US Kidney Business Unit (BU) in the journey to bring forth new options for the treatment of Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) and APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD). The Strat & Ops AD drives critical planning and execution as we build the US Kidney Business Unit.

We are seeking a candidate that has a strong track record in project management and strategic operations roles to report directly into the Vice President of the US Kidney Business Unit and partner closely with the Kidney BU Leadership Team as well as extended cross-functional partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with the US Kidney VP & BU Leadership Team to proactively shape the launch plan, and autonomously manages launch activity tracking and launch readiness team
  • Drives the development of high-impact executive, cross-functional and cross-team presentations and communications, including executive presentations, business reviews, and department town halls
  • Manages the annual brand/budgeting process for the BU to ensure strategic alignment, avoid duplication, and drive milestone completion as well as the monthly budgeting process
  • Develops dashboard for reporting of launch KPIs, monitors ROI of key initiatives and identifies focus areas to drive action that accelerates our launch plan
  • Develops agendas and manages key meetings to ensure that important decisions and action items are fully addressed, including BU Leadership meetings/off-sites and Launch Readiness meetings
  • Works closely with HR Business Partner to coordinate pull-through of team-culture related initiatives and activities including team onboarding activities, critical all team & regional meetings, headcount planning and other resource requests per direction of VP BU Leader
  • Acts as a liaison between cross functional colleagues to ensure alignment and coordination on a wide variety of cross-functional initiatives including annual kick off (VAKO) and plan of action (POA) meetings
  • Leads after action reviews of high impact projects; provide recommendations for simplification of processes and systems
  • Leads and/or manages additional special projects and high-profile initiatives, as appropriate

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience with demonstrated experience in project management, and organizing and directing multiple teams and departments; healthcare/biopharmaceuticals experience preferred

  • Outstanding communication of information and ideas (written, PowerPoint, verbal), to varied audiences including senior leadership and large team formats
  • Analytical, able to glean insights from data using excel and communicate in a compelling, visual way

  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; adapt to new projects rapidly and effectively; strategic thinker with a track record of driving results

Pay Range:

$155,700 - $233,600

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

1. Hybrid: work remotely up to two days per week; or select
