*Urgent Hire: Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Assistant - Pediatrics - Burbank, CA* *Location:* Burbank, CA (100% Onsite)
*Pay:* $21.50 - $26/hr *Description:* We are a fast-paced clinic seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for our Pediatrics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for: * Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality. * Coordinating daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and maintaining patient medical records. * Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care. *Responsibilities:* * Room and greet patients * Gather chief complaint or reason for visit * Update and maintain patient demographics * Check vitals * Perform EKGs, blood draws, injections, administer tests, and assist the physician * Manage medical records (EMR - Nextgen) * Answer incoming calls * Handle authorizations and referrals * Provide administrative and front office support as needed *Must Have Skills/Education/Certificates:* * Medical Assistant Diploma * Bilingual in Spanish and English * Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification * Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred) * Pediatrics experience (Preferred) *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Flexibility to work where needed * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment If you are a motivated Medical Assistant with the required skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity in our Pediatrics department. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
