TheDirector of Brand Marketing, Reuters Professional will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive brand marketing strategy and campaigns to enhance our company's market position and achieve business objectives. We anticipate that the successful candidate will be based in our New York office, with the opportunity to adopt a hybrid working arrangement. Alternatively, we are also open to considering candidates who would prefer to be based in our London, UK office.

About the Role

As our Director of Brand Marketing, you will:

  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies aligned with company goals, with a particular focus on supporting our newly launched digital subscriptions offering

  • Lead and manage the relationship with creative and media buying agencies

  • Oversee brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand strategy into all aspects of the business

  • Develop and manage brand marketing budgets

  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform brand positioning

  • Create and implement brand guidelines and best practices

  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and campaigns

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility

About You

To be our Director of Brand Marketing, you will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in brand marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Proven leadership experience working in the media sector, ideally with strong record of accomplishments in the news sector

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and emerging technologies

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making

  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively

  • Creativity and innovation in approach to brand marketing

  • Knowledge of market research techniques and consumer behavior

  • Proven track record of success working in complex and highly matrixed corporate business environments

  • Experience working in a global organization.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $156,450 - $290,550.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
