Position: Financial Advisor
Reports to: President, Cadence Investment Services
Division: Cadence Investment Services
Reports To: Program Coordinator, BancorpSouth Wealth Management
Working Conditions: Normal, no adverse or hazardous conditions

What The Role is:

This Financial Advisor position will lead a Wealth Management Investment team in client
acquisitions, retention, service, and sales. They will build relationships with Cadence bankers
and centers of influence to identify potential clients, train licensed bank employees; and provide
whatever support is needed for the team's existing client base.

How You will Make an Impact:

* Develop and present comprehensive personal and business financial plans
* Participate and lead client meetings in conjunction with the associate financial advisor
* Gather, organize, and synthesize client data within a financial planning context
* Prepare and provide analysis for client financial plans and presentations
* Prepare financial planning strategies for tax, retirement, insurance, estate, and other
planning components as they relate to the client's goals and objectives
* Communicate and collaborate with the client's outside advisors (CPA, Estate Attorney,
etc.)
* Participate in the continuous improvement of our firm's standards
* Acquire and retain investment clients through existing relationships, bank referrals, and
community involvement.
* Provide investment/insurance products and services, provide investment
proposals/planning, and conduct annual client reviews.
* Recruit bank staff to obtain insurance licenses to join our referral and/or sales program.
* Conduct bank branch referral training.
* Comply with all industry and broker/dealer rules and regulations.
* Prepare new account and account maintenance documentation.

Who You Are:

* CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Designation or willingness to obtain
* FINRA Series 7 & 63/65, registered with experience
* Sales skills and a good understanding of overall bank products and operations
* Exceptional social and communication skills necessary to assist clients
* Possess a high degree of self-motivation with the ability to work effectively as part of a
team to deliver a superior client experience
* Willingness to rise above the position requirements to assist clients, prospects,
management or other associates
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
* Bachelor's Degree, required
* Four years of investment product sales experience, required
