Student Unions Job Description
Summary The Event Operations Coordinator will coordinate the staffing needs for the Event Operations student staff who support the full-time staff in onsite event operations. The Event Operations Coordinator will mainly be responsible for the critical function of recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating a student workforce of about 30-40 individuals who will fill shifts throughout the day, evening, and weekends. This position may also directly plan, coordinate, or execute event details, when necessary. Key Responsibilities
Reports to the Associate Director for Reservations & Events. Shift
Weekly schedule will vary with event needs and can include nights and weekends; when events are light: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
