Customer Service Specialist

Coperion K-Tron is looking for a Customer Service/Sales Representative located in Whitewater, WI or Kansas City, MO. The Customer Service/Sales Representative will be responsible for acting as liaison between Coperion Process Solutions LLC and our customers, focusing on our legacy feeder and pneumatic conveying businesses. As an active participant in the After Sales Department, you directly interface with our customers to answer questions, quote spare parts, enter sales orders and provide project specific spare parts lists.

Work You'll Do:

• Take and process orders (via phone, email, fax) for spare parts and repairs for the Coperion Process Solutions LLC legacy feeder and pneumatics businesses.
• Provide quotes, drawings and other reference materials for spare parts and new equipment projects.
• Research parts information using Project Folders, Archived information, and blueprints; this can also require physical handling of parts and interacting with other departments such as Service, Engineering, Repairs, and the Test Lab.
• Work with Purchasing and Production to ensure timely shipment of parts orders, expediting as necessary.
• Process documentation required to initiate additional activity to fulfill customer requirements (i.e., filing "SR": Service Request for Engineering).
• Engage with freight shipping companies (i.e., UPS, Federal Express) to track shipments, provide proof of delivery and assist with claims for damaged or mis-shipped parts orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager.
• TRAVEL: ~10%

Basic Qualifications:

* 2 years' experience in a technical background and customer service

* Manufacturing environment

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree.
• Research skills including ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings and retain information learned about K-Tron feeders and parts.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detailed knowledge of industry feeders design and part number changes; ability to identify parts and convey information to customers via phone, fax, and e-mail.
• Experience in exports.
• Experience in SAP.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand Spanish is a plus.
