Salary Range: $68,250.00 - $126,205.00 Annual

Job Overview:

The Finance/Clinic Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of all financial operations within the clinical practice. This role oversees Patient registration, the finance team with a focus on high volume authorizations and billing processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. The Finance Manager plays a key role in optimizing the front-to-back financial workflow, with a strong focus on ensuring clean claims submission and minimizing denials. A broad understanding of revenue cycle management, including payer requirements and claims adjudication, is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to streamline financial procedures and support overall clinic operations with a focus on fiscal responsibility and patient access.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's degree or Billing certification in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive management experience in a hospital service or multi-physician's office practice.
  • Strong computer skills, including PC-based and mainframe systems.
  • Experience in process management and reorganization. Substantive experience in practice management, billing, coding, supervision, training of personnel and management may be considered.
  • Denial Management
  • Data and reporting management skills.
  • Prior EPIC EMR experience

Preferred:

  • Thorough knowledge of oncology practice operations including patient flow, billing, insurance etc.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare related field is preferred.

Certification/License

  • Medical Billing/Coding certification is preferred.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Full-time, Day

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement finance strategies to optimize revenue and manage any denial trend.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including physicians, pharmacy, administrators and executives to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • The Finance Manager will ultimately serve as a bridge between healthcare providers and insurance companies as well as patients.
  • Additionally, the Finance Manager will provide leadership and guidance to all finance and the Patient Access team, ensuring accurate and efficient patient registration, insurance verification, and billing processes, while coordinating between finance and operational teams to improve patient experience and financial outcomes.
  • The finance manager will manage all components of work queues through the electronic EMR system EPIC.
