Hours: 7a to 7p with rotating weekends

As a Med-Surg RN at Sentara Obici, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered care alongside a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. You'll care for adult patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, chronic illness management, acute exacerbations, and more.

Registered Nurse Transition to Practice Programs at Sentara:

Unique 6-Month Program Includes:

• No separate application required, automatic enrollment for any RN with less than 12 months experience or transitioning to a new practice area.

Education

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)

• Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)

Certification/Licensure

• Registered nursing License (Required)

• Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License.

• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

• None required

• 1 year of acute care (preferred)

• Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
