- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Proven experience in managing complex IT projects or contracts.
- Ability to create and execute project plans, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide teams and coordinate activities.
- Effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
- In-depth understanding of the contract terms, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with FAR and other relevant guidelines.
- Budget management skills to track billing, allocate resources, and ensure cost- effectiveness.
- Monitoring financial aspects of the contract.
- Ensuring that services meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Implementing processes for continuous improvement.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to contract performance.
- Developing contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Collaborating with subcontractors, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensuring timely delivery of services.
- Streamlining processes and optimizing resource utilization.
- Monitoring service levels and addressing any bottlenecks.
- Maintaining accurate records of operational activities.
- Preparing regular reports on contract performance.
- Prioritizing user satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensuring smooth communication between the contract team and end-users.
Experience and Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (such as computer science, information technology, or business administration) is often required.
- 8 to 10 years' experience in managing complex IT projects or contracts, including resource allocation, project planning, and meeting deadlines.
- Certifications such as PMP or ITIL
