Join our Venice Family Clinic as a Manager of Individual and Corporate Development and use your expertise to grow your career while making a difference in the communities we serve. This key role will receive guidance and direction from the Director of Individual and Corporate Development, and willoperate with a high degree of independence and strategic initiative, taking ownership of identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts from individuals, foundations, corporate foundations, and corporations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Secures a wide variety of event sponsorships, memberships and other programmatic gifts.
  • Working proactively, the Manager advances donor relationships and funding requests from start to finish, ensuring timely follow-through and results.
  • Effectively communicates about Clinic programs, capital projects, annual operations and other initiatives as developed by Clinic leadership as part of overall strategic priorities to advance health equity in our community.
  • Manages an existing portfolio, while independently developing new leads, with a focus on membership level giving from individuals and sponsorships and programmatic support from corporations and foundation.
  • Partners with colleagues who work on major gifts, direct mail, grants and events to develop coordinated strategies for approaching donors (individual, corporate and foundation).
  • Serves as an internal resource for the Clinic and as a visible representative of Venice Family Clinic with donors and other external individual, corporate and foundation partners.


Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $86,400.00 - $184,800.00 Annual. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 Annual.

Qualifications

Required:



  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
  • At least three years of experience specifically in managing a donor portfolio; demonstrated track record of success in securing gifts in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision-making, and project management skills.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into persuasive verbal proposals and effectively communicate the vision, mission, and programs of Venice Family Clinic to external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set priorities, bring projects to completion, and meet multiple deadlines with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with a successful track record of engaging donors and strengthening donor relationships.
  • Ability to analyze statistics and present data in accessible formats within donor materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work on occasional evenings and weekends.


Experience with donor databases (Salesforce,Raiser's Edgeor an equivalent system) is highly preferred.
