Develops, implements, and maintains inventory control over all equipment in the centralized management fleet to support patient care and/or ancillary departments. Position is responsible for coordination of all team members within equipment handling ensuring efficiency of labor and optimization of equipment utilization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Associates Degree and two years of supply chain experience ORHigh School Diploma and four years of supply chain experience

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP)

EXPERIENCE:

1. Four years of Supply Chain experience in a healthcare environment

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Develops and maintains inventory locator systems to facilitate easy retrieval for all items.

2. Serve as the administrator for equipment handling system

3. Prioritizes workload to manage multiple priorities.

4. Provides guidance and coaching to less experienced team members.

5. Analyze and trend clinical equipment cost, spend, and utilization data, with a particular focus on high cost products.

6. Provides assistance in problem identification and resolution of daily operation problems within required time frames.

7. Work closely with leadership and staff to maintain equipment pars to support operational needs of facility.

8. Supervise compliance of storage regulations and guidelines as defined by policy, regulatory directives and accrediting agencies recommendations

9. Engage clinical and non-clinical staff regularly to determine items for PAR levels and items appropriate to be stored on-site

1. Requires prolonged sitting and time on feet, some bending, stooping and stretching.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Proven skills in project management, software implementation, training, and people management.

2. Familiar with using computerized applications including accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing.

3. Demonstrates ability to recognize and solve basic hardware and software problems.

4. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Maintains a high degree of customer service commitment with the ability to communicate data in front of diverse groups.

5. Have a solid working knowledge of inventory management, receiving and purchasing theories

Additional Job Description:

Monday through Friday. 11a-7:30p

Be advised that the successful candidate may be required to adjust shift hours from time to time to support/coordinate training and education initiatives for staff on all shifts.
