We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join the 2025 WSP Summer Intern Program in the New York, NY office. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly organized, and passionate about developing a career in human resources.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist in posting job openings on internal and external job boards
  • Review resumes and applications, and help coordinate interviews
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR documents
  • Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and team-building activities
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and help improve internal processes
  • Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks
  • Help ensure company policies are up to date and compliant with current regulations



Desired Qualifications



  • Currently matriculated students enrolled at a 4 year college or university pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field. (required)
  • Strong GPA preferred (Minimum GPA of 3.2 required)
  • Ability to be onsite in office 4 days a week
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges



The WSP Summer Internship Program is a paid, ten-week program that offers students the opportunity to obtain firsthand insight into the insurance business. Every day you'll learn and develop your skills but you'll also have a clear and supportive path ahead of you. You'll gain the confidence to take on real projects, build your network and learn from senior leaders across our business.

Program Elements Include:

  • Presentations from Major Brokerage Partners
  • Teambuilding and Social Activities; including Community Service Event
  • Industry based Group Project



This is a paid internship. Intern will be paid on an hourly basis at the rate of $25/hour.
