Processor - Commercial Loan

  • The Commercial Loan Processor will process and fund Commercial, Agriculture, and Small Business (SBA) loans including but not limited to, equipment, auto, and various types of secured loans. Responsible for collecting and validating all documentation, ensuring effective operations while adhering to regulatory compliance guidelines as defined by commercial loan standards.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Processes, closes, and boards small business loans, including equipment, auto, line of credit, secured and unsecured loans.

    Coordinates with the underwriter and document preparation firm, confirms anticipated closing date and prepares loan file for closing process for all small business loans

    Processes real estate loans by reviewing and evaluating loan application, purchase contracts, ordering appraisals, title documents etc. according to policy and guidelines, before transferring the file to the Commercial Loan Closer.

    Acts as a liaison and maintains communication between the Loan Officer and all parties relevant to the loan (borrower, underwriting, appraisal, environmental, etc.).

    Monitors and keeps current with Small Business Administration (SBA) and Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) rules and regulations, including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).

    Takes accountability to provide a best-in-class member experience.

    Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Education:

    • Associates degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience is a requirement.

    Experience:

    • Two or more years of job-related experience including familiarity with documenting and processing routine to complex commercial and mortgage loans (SBA experience preferred).

    • Ability to work both remotely and collaboratively and maintain efficiency in either environment.
    • Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and strategic and creative thinking abilities.
