Description
The Marketing Applications Business Analyst will manage a portfolio of marketing applications and serve in a technology and business process coordination role within marketing. The role will focus on managing a portfolio of key marketing technologies and ensuring that the entire portfolio within marketing is attended to in terms of implementations, updates, renewals, technical support, and maintenance. The role will work closely with technology, sales and marketing peers for requirements gathering, support resolution, product administration, and planning. The position will also actively engage with stakeholders to refine business processes and data content. In addition, the role will be responsible for business process and application reviews to ensure CAS marketing processes and applications are fully optimized. Job Accountabilities:
- Responsible for managing a portfolio of key marketing applications, ensuring contract procurement, user support, product updates, and the application's day-to-day operations are in order.
- Strict adherence to processes related to established protocols around enhancement requests, new technology requests, and first level triage support.
- Working with business and technology stakeholders to implement new solutions and updates.
- Providing first and second-level problem resolution to end users.
- Ownership of an applications library within marketing, ensuring thorough and current documentation of key information
- Conduct reviews on business processes and application utility across the suite of marketing applications, ensuring utility and value requirements are being met
- Lead and manage change efforts for business process changes, leading to more efficient and value-driven results.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and desired outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), super-user, and product evangelist for various applications across marketing and sales.
- As needed, provide data and metrics to compile reports from various applications to drive data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in technology, marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
- Five or more years' experience utilizing a project management tracking system such as Jira or Smartsheet. Experience working in an Agile scrum environment implementing changes and enhancements to processes and or business applications.
- High level of collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to translate complex situations into understandable findings and actionable recommendations for business partners and leaders.
- Three or more years of experience with using sales or marketing tools such as Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Hubspot, Google Analytics, and/ or any equivalent CRM, MAT, ERP, or digital marketing tool.
- Project management experience and Lean Six Sigma certification are a plus.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Proficient in application testing methodologies and tools. Experience conducting functional, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrated active problem-solving skills. Ability to take complex challenges and break them down to create and implement actionable plans.
- Ability to adjust to change, deal with ambiguity, surmount barriers, and demonstrate a solutions-focused focus, with a passion for innovation, discovery, and continual improvement.
