Work Schedule:

Part time, 80% FTE day/evening shift. Monday - Friday rotating start times between 6:30am - 9:00am, working 8-hour shifts. Weekday and Weekend On-Call required. Weekday On-Call is between the hours of 5:30pm - 7:00am. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.

We are seeking Endoscopy Technician to:



  • Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy.
  • Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels.
  • Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment.
  • Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.



Education:

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant)

Work Experience:

Preferred -



  • One year of experience in a clinical setting (or)
  • One year of experience assisting in GI or Pulmonary Medical Procedures, Basic Cardiac Monitoring Experience.



Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - BLS/CPR certification

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:



  • Knowledge of communication techniques, teamwork, customer service standards and quality improvement.
  • Knowledge of the use of personal protective equipment.
